Research shows that children who read over the summer maintain or improve their reading skills. Summer reading helps children feel confident and ready for September!

This summer the Bright Red Book Bus will be visiting AE Perry once a week. Neighbourhood children and their parents or caregivers are invited to stop by the Bright Red School Bus every week. Children will be welcome to take up to two books each visit. They may keep these books or return them on another visit. No library card is needed! Information regarding the scheduled day for our school will be advertised as soon as it is confirmed.

This program, funded by a generous grant from the Stollery Charitable Foundation, is made possible by a partnership with Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops, Literacy in Kamloops, TNRD Library, and School District No. 73.

Happy Summer Reading!
